Public-artifacts series — long-form essays on backend infrastructure I’ve built at RocketReach: email verification at scale, contact normalization, the credit accounting system, the analytics warehouse. First post in the queue.

Reading

Deep Learning by Goodfellow, Bengio, Courville — currently around the Chapter 4/5 boundary (numerical computation, ML basics). Designing Data-Intensive Applications — on deck.

Studying

ML systems & theory. Math foundations refresh: linear algebra, information theory, variational inference. Algorithms practice on LeetCode (premium, daily-ish).

Targeting

ML/systems hybrid roles in the Bay Area starting fall 2026. Anthropic-tier orgs preferred. Inference infrastructure, evaluation tooling, training infra, ML platform.
